Bradley L. Townsend, DDS, MS
offers a wealth of knowledge and clinical experience in the field of periodontal treatment. Dr. Townsend graduated from the University of Iowa Dental School, as valedictorian, ranking first in his class. He received his certificate in Periodontology in 1982 and was awarded the Top Resident Award for his outstanding achievement in that field. Dr. Townsend received his Masters of Science degree in Periodontology later that same year, graduating with the highest honors. Dr. Townsend has been in private practice in Iowa for the past 25 years, maintaining close ties with the University of Iowa College of Dentistry as an adjunct professor in both the Family Dentistry and the Periodontology departments. Dr Townsend has been serving his local dental community through his dental society as well as lecturing state wide in the area of periodontal and implant dentistry. Recently relocating to Northern California, Dr. Townsend has joined Dr. Nicky Hakimi and Dr. Dean Ahmad in serving the periodontal and implant needs of the greater Sacramento area. With common goals of providing compassionate, top quality periodontal services, Doctors Hakimi and Ahmad are excited to add Dr. Brad Townsend to their team.
